We created a website for the first InfraChallenge competition hosted by GI Hub. Themes of technology and innovation needed to be reflected while staying true to the GI Hub brand.
For a new competition we needed a website with a different look and feel to the GI Hub home page. However, the website also needed to remain “GI Hub” in brand for legitimacy as the first edition of this competition. Elements like logos and buttons stuck to GI Hub’s style guide to give us freedom in other aspects of the website’s design. This included colours, iconography and imagery.
This website would be used for subsequent years as the competition continued so flexibility was important. We achieved this with a monochrome colour scheme where the main colour could change every year and other shades could be drawn from there.
